New Custom Web Converting System to Feature Packaging Options at ATX West 2010

Delta Industrial, a designer and manufacturer of web converting and packaging equipment, will unveil its new web converting system at ATX West 2010. Demonstration of the Delta Mod-Tech in Booth 4325 will include in-line rotary die-cutting and the recently patented, island placement module (PAT. 7,293,593, patent pending). Features may be added to create a custom packaging system. Available are process modules for web steering, laminating, ultrasonic sealing, flexographic printing, slitting, sheeting, stacking, conveying, heat-seal packaging, and more.

In addition, a new in-line digital printing module can produce serialized numbering, standard bar-coding, 2-D bar-coding, variable data, and variable imaging. The digital print module features four-color CMYK. Delta Edge Laser Technology may also be incorporated for cutting complex geometries, laser ablation, and perforating.

Delta Industrial reports that the Delta Mod-Tech can help minimize waste of expensive materials through placement precision.

Delta offers innovative equipment solutions for medical and pharmaceutical manufacturers as well as contract converters who manufacture products for a variety of industries.

ATX West 2010 will take place February 9-11 in Anaheim, CA. The event will be co-located with Medical Design & Manufacturing West 2010, WestPack 2010, Plastec West, Pacific Desgin & Engineering, Green Manufacturing Expo, and more.
