Hapa Acquires Gottscho Printing Systems
Hapa has acquired Gottscho Printing Systems in an effort to create a single source for inline, in-house printing solutions for the pharmaceutical, medical, personal care, food, and FMCG industries. Hapa provides late-stage printing customization technologies, while Gottscho provides flexographic technologies. Both are known for providing on-demand printing technologies.
Together, Hapa and Gottscho will focus on helping clients accelerate growth, mitigate risks, and lower costs, the companies reported in a press release. They will provide packaging machinery manufacturers and integrators with integrated high-tech systems intended to add value while improving customer supply chains and logistics.
Gottscho will continue to operate under the name Gottscho. Gottscho comes to Hapa with a recently upgraded and simplified product line that delivers improved customer efficiencies at minimal capital costs, the press release states. The focus on cost-competitive products complements the Hapa portfolio.
