Cleanrooms and Contract Services at Sealed Air Nelipak's Irish Site

Sealed Air’s Medical Applications business announced that its Galway site now offers rental of Class 8 cleanrooms from 1000 sq ft to more than 3000 sq ft. The facilities are appropriate for both start-up companies and larger corporations. Nelipak staff in Galway can provide guidance and real-life case studies showing the benefits to device manufacturers.

Other support services include the rental of office and warehouse space, contract device assembly and packing, and the design and supply of sterile barrier packaging and sealing machines.

“European and American companies who have used our facilities have seen real benefits to their business strategy from this approach”, says Joe Holland, General Manager of the Sealed Air Nelipak Galway site. “They can pick those parts that are right for them, grow their business, and move on when they are ready. Our site is accredited to ISO 13485, so device manufacturers can be assured of the highest standards in line with their own working practices.”

Sealed Air manufactures packaging and performance-based materials and equipment systems that serve food, industrial, medical, and consumer applications. Brands include Bubble Wrap cushioning, Jiffy protective mailers, Instapak foam-in-place systems and Cryovac food packaging technology.
