ARmark, Smiths Detection, Offer Covert Marking Solution

ARmark Authentication Technologies, LLC (Glen Rock, PA) has partnered with Smiths Detection to launch IntelliMark, a product identification system that features ARmark’s microscopic mark covert markers. Markers are integrated into products and identified with Smiths Detection’s IdentifyIR and IlluminatIR instruments. A secondary level of verification is provided through Smiths Touchback spectral reading and confirmation service.

The covert markers can contain multiple layers of information, including text and art. Custom-designed to each customer, they can be applied directly to goods delivered using aerosols, inks, overprint varnishes, papers, adhesives, and films.

Combined with the capability of Smiths Touchback system, IntelliMark now brings a complete information service to brand owners regarding their product supply chain,” says Jeff Robertson, general manager, ARmark.
