American Health Packaging Launches New Web Site
Having increased its production of hospital unit-dose products in the last couple of years, American Health Packaging (Columbus, OH) has updated its Web site to better target the hospital pharmacy customer. "With nearly 270 SKUs in our unit-dose product line, it was becoming critical to allow customers to find info on any one specific item," the company states in a press release.
Customers have asked American Health Packaging to allow them "to quickly and easily be able to get to item numbers, NDC numbers, and so forth. So the new Web site will feature a quick search as well as an advanced product search feature. It will also allow customers to request a drop ship of any product not yet available in their local distribution center."
In addition, the site features a “heavy footer” for navigation within the site allowing the user to go from one inquiry to another without having to start back at the beginning.
"We’ve created a very dynamic tool that can easily be adjusted depending on the business need—new launches, new product types, etc. It is not meant to remain static; it will be updated every couple of weeks," the company reports.
American Health Packaging offers products to support the bedside point-of-care and operating efficiency initiatives of health systems customers. Bar coded to the dose level, the unit-dose line has grown substantially in recent years with more launches planned in 2010.
