Compact Baggers

A company introduces compact, all-electric systems for low- to mid-volume packaging applications. PS 125 OneStep Tabletop baggers include built-in imprinters with next-bag-out printing technology ideal for short-run and order-fulfillment applications. The system has a user-friendly display that provides easy access to job storage and recall. The locking turntable design combines with the AutoThread feature for ergonomic handling and fast changeover of Autobag bags-on-a-roll. Consolidated Carousel

A consolidated carousel now handles 300% more open orders. The Remstar Consolidated Carousel is a system of carriers that rotate on an oval track. Its high-density design uses less floor space than conventional conveyors, cross-belt, or tilt-tray consolidation systems and at a lower price, according to the manufacturer. The system can handle more open orders because it requires no dedicated pick lanes and recirculation capabilities. The system requires only one operator for two carousels, lowering the workforce needed. Remstar International Inc.; 800/639-5805; www.remstar.com.

New Controller

A new controller facilitates quick design, installation, and start-up on machine-vision solutions. The maestro comprises two modules. Master controller P800 interfaces with encoders and I/O, delivering synchronizations and safety on CAT5E cables for eight or more cameras and light sources from a single power supply. The connecting C12 module features a camera and light controller and supplies power while synchronizing configurable high-current pulses for LED lasers. The modules are compatible with all cameras, light sources, I/O, and machine vision software libraries. LMI Technologies (USA) Inc., Royal Oak, MI; 248/298-2839; www.lmitechnologies.com.
