Multivac Inc. (Kansas City, MO) has appointed Jim Brigman as Western regional service manager. He will oversee customer assistance with existing machinery maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and new installations within his territory west of the Mississippi River. Brigman came to Multivac in 1989, and worked directly with customers as a field service technician. His most recent position was as a technical trainer at Multivac University.
David Wallace has joined InkSure Technologies Inc. (Ft. Lauderdale, FL) as director of sales for the Americas. Wallace worked for 12 years in the packaging and specialty ink fields before joining National Label in 1995 to develop products with conductive, thermochromic and security printing inks. In 2002 Wallace joined Calyx LLC to provide anticounterfeiting inks to the pharmaceutical industry. When Authentix purchased Calyx, David took on the position of director of security inks and was later named VP, operations.
Mark Conforti has been promoted to branch manager of WeighPack Systems’ (Montreal, QC, Canada) Mid-West facility. Conforti has worked at WeighPack for more than six years and has developed relationships with clients in the Mid-West. Having worked his way up through customer service functions, WeighPack representatives say he has developed a keen understanding of customer needs. Conforti will oversee the day-to-day operations of the new Systems Center facility.
Norwood Marking Systems/Allen Coding Systems (Downers Grove, IL) has appointed Randy Roberts as regional account manager. Roberts will work with end-users and distributors, and partner with OEMs to integrate Norwood/Allen printers on host equipment. Roberts has worked as account manager for Bradford Co., sales representative for Inmark, and, most recently, sales representative for ITW Signode Packaging Systems.
