Unlocking Value through Outsourcing
Date: March 25, 2014
Time: 11:00 AM PT/2:00 PM ET
Duration: 60 minutes including Live Q&A

Ask any healthcare logistics professionals about their supply chain concerns and they’re likely to cite—among others—regulatory compliance, product protection and supply chain expenditure. Many of them are looking for solutions that can unload the heavy burden of logistics and distribution and also contain costs. Yet relatively few healthcare manufacturers have discovered the value of outsourcing their distribution operation.

In this webinar, UPS’s Charles Trammell and Brad Sand reveal how outsourcing these commitments to third party logistics provider can not only free up resources but also add value to the healthcare manufacturer’s bottom line.

Why Accuracy is Critical in a Serialized Supply Chain
Original Air Date: June 22, 2011

In pharmaceutical packaging, the integrity of data is essential when verifying the origin of manufacture when a suspect serialized number is read, regardless of whether or not the unique serial number is legitimate. This verification ability is the underpinning of any serialization initiative. Without it, items, cases, pallets and potentially an entire lot can be suspected as counterfeit. Supply chain events will inevitably happen – a manufacturer’s ability to identify what has occurred and respond depends on the accuracy of their data. This webinar will discuss the critical nature of packaging data, serialization’s effect on it, and how the convergence of data is impacting the supply chain.
