PRESIDENT'S LETTER

Poised for Progress

I am delighted to be writing for the first time as the president of The Tube Council. Senior people from the vast majority of North American tube manufacturers recently asked me to serve in this capacity, and I was only too pleased to accept. Elections have been held to confirm board members and other officers. As a consequence, the board now consists of representatives from Plastube, Montebello Packaging, Alcan Packaging Cebal, Tubed Products, and Artube.
