Westpak to Expand San Diego Lab Facility

The packaging and product testing facility is boosting the footprint of its facility by 4,000 sq. ft.

Westpak Inc., a Product and Package Testing Laboratory recently announced a 4000 sq ft expansion of its laboratory in San Diego, California.
 
“We are excited about the expansion of our facility and our ability to offer even more environmental testing services to our growing customer base in southern California, Mexico, and surrounding areas. This will assist us as we strive to decrease lead times while continuing to offer the same excellent test services and customer focus that has become our trademark in the industry” claims Craft.

Mocon Launches Non-invasive Blister Gas Testing System

The OpTech -- O2 system is suitable for non-invasive, non-destructive thermoformed blister package testing.


MOCON Inc.a manufacturer of permeation instrumentation, is announcing new capability for its   OpTech – O2 system. 

Non-invasive, non-destructive thermoformed blister package testing is now possible due to the development of an optical sensor that will “fluoresce” or give off light directly related to the amount of oxygen present. OpTech – O2 technology is ideal for determining oxygen headspace and ingress in flexible and rigid packaging.
