On February 13-14, 2013, Pharmapack Europe will take place at the Grande Halle de la Villette in Paris, hosting more than 280 companies exhibiting pharmaceutical packaging and drug delivery systems. The 2013 event will focus on the role the patient plays in driving the development of drug delivery systems and pharmaceutical packaging.
Novation is working to replace “limited-life” transport packaging materials such as corrugated boxes, wood pallets, and plastic film with durable, reusable alternatives. NEW YORK, N.Y. – Pfizer Inc. announced today that it has voluntarily recalled 14 lots of Lo/Ovral-28 (norgestrel and ethinyl estradiol)Tablets and 14 lots of Norgestrel and Ethinyl Estradiol Tablets (generic) for customers in the U.S. market. An investigation by Pfizer found that some blister packs may contain an inexact count of inert or active ingredient tablets and that the tablets may be out of sequence.
This week Endo Pharmaceuticals reported that several of its products may experience a "constraint" or "disruption" in supply following the temporary shutdown of Novartis Consumer Health Inc.'s Lincoln, NE, manufacturing facility, where these Endo drugs have been manufactured.
