Antares Vision is introducing the Foreign Checker tablet, capsule, and gelatin vision inspection system at Pack Expo in Las Vegas, September 28-30. The company is located at booth N-822.
The Foreign Checker can integrate with counting machines and will ensure that only whole, undamaged, and un-mixed products are packaged, according to Antares Vision. The company will also show off another new inspection system at Pack Expo, the Tablets and Capsules Inspector.
Sepha’s machine VisionScan Max, a tool-less, non-destructive leak-detection device for pharmaceutical blister packs, made its debut at ACHEMA in Frankfurt in June.
At ACHEMA, Scanware Electronic GmbH is exhibiting its inspection systems. Its highlights for Frankfurt are track and trace case inspection and 3D color product inspection. It will be located at Achema, Hall 3.1, booth A55.
The 3D Color System is a solution that offers highest security for pharmaceutical producers, according to Scanware. In the field of anti-counterfeiting, ACHEMA’s center stage will also feature the high-resolution Case Inspection LYNX-CAPA CI.
Bosch Packaging Technology will showcase two new pharmaceutical inspection machines at Achema 2015 in Germany in June.
The KHS 1 is a new development emerging from a cooperation of Bosch with Lighthouse Instruments, LLC. It is designed for container closure integrity testing of ampoules, vials, bottles, cartridges, and syringes using laser headspace analysis (HSA).
DIR Technologies, a provider of process control solutions for pharmaceutical primary packaging, announced a five-year agreement with Pfizer Inc. The agreement provides Pfizer with access to DIR Technologies’ first-to-industry inspection and quality control solutions, and it sets the stage for joint projects pertaining to both product production and packaging line QA/QC processes.
The recently introduced, next generation PTI VeriPac Inspection System, the VeriPac 310, can be viewed at Interphex this week, April 21 through April 23, at Booth 2154B. The latest model replaces the first generation VeriPac 225 and 325 test systems.
