Unicep Packaging Promotes Krause to Director of Program Management

The Idaho-based contract packaging company has promoted Kirby Krause, with the firm since 2009, to Senior Program Manager.

Sandpoint, Idaho -- Unicep Packaging, Inc., a Sandpoint, Idaho based contract packaging company, recently promoted Kirby Krause to Director of Program Management. Krause joined Unicep in 2009 as a Senior Program Manager.  “I’m looking forward to building on the Program Management model that has been successfully implemented at Unicep and continuing to focus on exceeding our customer’s expectations,” Krause stated.

Filling Stick Packs

Pharmaceutical contract manufacturer and packager Pharma Tech Industries (PTI) has added a Ropak Stik Pak 10-up S/N 307 machine to form, crimp, fill, and seal stick packs. The machinery can produce up to 600 stick packs per minute across 10 lanes.

“Stick packs are one of the fastest-growing packaging solutions in the over-the-counter pharmaceutical market, and this new equipment allows our customers to capitalize on this,” reported Tee Noland, PTI director of business development, in a statement.
