Tapemark has agreed to acquire the iontoPatch business from Travanti Pharma Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Teikoku Pharma USA Inc. The iontoPatch product line along with iontophoretic technology for use in medical devices and cosmetics will be marketed under the Travanti Medical name.
Pharma Tech Industries (PTI), a pharmaceutical contract manufacturer and packager of powder products, has hired Preston Wright as its new Senior Director of Quality. Wright will direct all aspects of PTI’s Corporate Quality System, including Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and Quality Operations, at the company’s two contract manufacturing plant locations in Royston, GA, and Union, MO, respectively.
