Cognex Corporation and Microscan Systems, Inc., announced a settlement on June 9 of all outstanding litigation between the companies.
Microscan, a technology producer of embedded clinical bar code readers and machine vision solutions for the life sciences, announced that it will demonstrate micro-sized OEM solutions for clinical instruments from booth #4349 at the 2015 AACC Clinical Lab Expo, July 28-30 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta.
Webscan, Inc. announced the release of a fully portable and fully integrated 2D bar code verifier, the TruCheck Rover. It is battery powered for portability and features integrated processing and touch screen display. Also, it is self-contained and easy to move around to where it is needed, according to the company.

Cognex Corporation has integrated advanced 2DMax+ code reading software technology into the compact DataMan 100 and 200 fixed-mount barcode readers. With 2DMax+, the readers can now identify and decode severely damaged or poorly marked 2-D matrix codes.
