Technipaq Inc., an ISO 9001/ ISO 13485 certified manufacturer of flexible sterilizable packaging materials for the medical device, diagnostic, pharmaceutical, and other industries, has launched a new Web site. The site has been redesigned to enhance navigation and expand access to information about Technipaq’s product lines.

Flexible packaging and rigid container manufacturer Printpack Inc. has formed a new medical packaging division offering packaging products compatible with radiation, electron beam, and EtO sterilization for medical devices, hospital supplies, and lab ware. These include KwikBreathe Header Bags, Linear Tear Bags, KwikTear Bags, Center Strip Bags, and various forming films and top webs.

Automated Packaging Systems Inc. is expanding its operations in Streetsboro, Ohio, by acquiring two commercial buildings. The larger building is 173,000 square feet of combined manufacturing, office and warehouse space located on 32 acres at 600 Mondial Parkway, just three miles from the company’s corporate headquarters on Philipp Parkway. This building was originally constructed in 1995 and will be used to support future expansion plans for multiple product lines, including manufacturing of bag packaging systems and bag materials.

The Oystar Group has bundled its U.S. business under a single corporate umbrella. With immediate effect, the previous U.S. subsidiaries Oystar Jones (Covington, KY), Oystar USA (Edison, NJ) and Oystar Packaging Technologies (Davenport, IA) will now have a uniform corporate appearance as “Oystar North America.”
 

As part of Multisorb Technologies’ ongoing emphasis on providing solutions-based active packaging technology to the global market, the company announced today it will be providing direct sales, service, and support in Canada effective Feb. 1, 2011. This expansion is part of the companies’ business objective of growing its presence in the important Canadian market.
