to learn the various complexities of the Optel Vision TrackSafe solution while being simple enough to get the big picture. One must be aware that this video is only one possible scenario. There are multiple options and possibilities. Optel Vision has successfully integrated track & trace solutions for numerous packaging line scenarios for carton and bottle," says Jean-Pierre Allard, serialization product manager.
Optel Vision has recently completed a $4 million, 25,000 sq ft state-of-the-art manufacturing and technology addition at its Quebec City headquarters, with over 18,000 sq ft of production space. Concurrently, it has hired additional highly skilled workers with expertise in IT, software programming, project management, and production to meet current and future demands, the company announced.
“This facility will accommodate an expansion of 150 additional team members. The building also contains new conference and technical training facilities with a brand new global shipping/receiving area specifically designed to manage over-sized and overweight materials,” Optel said.
“While increasing our workforce in North America, Optel Vision is also furthering its expansion in India and Europe by adding additional sales, engineering, and support staff. This major investment has strengthened and positioned Optel Vision to undertake any major serialization project worldwide,” the company said.
