ThermoSafe Brands Launches “Next Generation” Pallet Shipper

Tegrant Corporation, ThermoSafe Brands (Arlington Heights, IL) has introduced a new insulated pallet shipper with advanced characteristics. The ThermoSafe® EF4100 Pallet Shipper has been specifically designed for life science customers, by life science customers, to use in the transport of high-value, temperature-sensitive, pharmaceutical, biological, and vaccine products, the company says.
The shipper’s unique characteristics include a new EasyLoc™ design, self-supporting, light-weight insulated panels, and minimal packing components, which allow for convenient one-person assembly. “Quick, light-weight, and simple, this new pallet shipper features the greatest payload-optimization-to-thermal-performance in the industry, with a superior payload capacity of at least 1.0 cubic meter,” the company says.
A new ribbed design on the panels was created to enhance convective airflow inside the container. Interlocking edges prevent temperature stratification, providing a consistent temperature throughout. The EF4100 Pallet Shipper can be adapted and qualified to meet a number of different temperature profiles.
