Stiplastics Carrying Cases Win Pharmapack Award in Paris

At Pharmapack Europe 2013 in Paris, Stiplastics was recognized with a Pharmapack Award
for its carrying cases for bandages, patches, and blisters. Awarded in the “Easy use for ambulatory care” category, the carrying cases feature In-Mould Labelling technology and can be custom designed by Stiplastics’s R&D teams.

Begun in 1997, the Pharmapack Awards reward packaging innovation in pharmaceuticals, medical devices, health products, and veterinary drugs. The awards were announced on February 13.

Stiplastics calls the carrying cases sturdy and secure, reusable and refillable, compact, and 100 % recyclable.

"We are delighted with this award and, especially because our range has just been selected by Merck Medication Familiale, a Merck Consumer Health division. We developed a specific model of carrying case for its new product launching, Apaisyl, an efficient 'after-sting patches,' that users will be able to take anywhere.
The laboratory enjoyed our technology In-Mould Labelling which allows it to print, indelibly, the patch’s conditions for use on the back of the packaging. Merck was attracted by a mono-material product and therefore a fully recyclable packaging," said Jérôme Empereur, Stiplastics sales manager, in a press release.

Stiplastics has been designing, manufacturing, and marketing injection-molded engineered products and systems for more than 25 years. In-house R&D, engineering, graphic design, quality, and regulatory affairs capabilities—along with a manufacturing facility in France—allow Stiplastics to custom design dosing and packaging systems as well as OTC products and Pilbox pill cases. The company has worked with companies such as Novartis, Sanofi Aventis, Danone, and Bulgari as well as smaller manufacturers. To learn more, visit www.stiplastics.com.
