Rx-360 Looking for Auditors for Pilot

Rx-360, an International Pharmaceutical Supply Chain Consortium, has opened on-line registration for auditors to kick off its joint auditing program pilot. The pilot is scheduled to include audits of at least 20 suppliers of active pharmaceutical ingredients, excipients, and basic chemicals/raw materials in North America, Europe, and Asia.

"One of the goals of Rx-360 is to share supplier audits amongst its members to improve security of the pharmaceutical industry supply chain and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the auditing process for pharmaceutical companies and suppliers," the group states in an e-mail.

Rx-360 invites auditing service companies interested in participating to register at the Rx-360 web site. Rx-360 representatives will contact registered companies for additional information as needed.

After April 5, qualified companies will be asked to present cost estimates for conducting audits for Rx-360 as part of the pilot, the group states. Two or more auditing service companies will be selected for the pilot, the group states.

Any questions about the on-line registration or pilot of the Rx-360 joint auditing program can be addressed to Deborah Armstrong at rx-360auditor@dbr.com.
