Reference Preps U.S. Pharmaceutical Supply Chain For State Drug Pedigree Requirements

GS1 Healthcare US develops an Industry Reference Model as part of it 2015 Readiness Program. The 2015 Readiness Program was established by GS1 Healthcare US to help members of the U.S. pharmaceutical supply chain prepare for state drug pedigree requirements in 2015. Based on simulation methods, this unique program allows participants to examine and test business processes using GS1 Standards for product serialization and supply chain visibility.

In Phase 1, the 2015 Readiness Program participants focused on developing an Industry Reference Model to simulate basic forward logistics in a pharmaceutical supply chain. This new report summarizes their experiences and includes:
