PrePak Holdings Names New Chief Executive Officer and President
PrePak Holdings Inc. announces that it has named Renard Jackson to serve as the company’s new chief executive officer and president. PrePak serves mid- to large-sized companies in the pharmaceutical, nutritional, consumer product, medical device, and animal health markets. With FDA-registered and cGMP compliant facilities, PrePak subsidiaries include PrePak Systems, Celeste Contract Manufacturing and Packaging, and Integrated Pharmaceutical Packaging.
According to a press release issued by PrePak, Jackson has spent his 25-year career in a range of corporate leadership roles, including tenures as group president and in general management, operations, sales and marketing positions. He previously served as vice president/general manager at Schott North America, Pharmaceutical Systems, responsible for driving the performance of the company’s pharmaceutical packaging business unit. Jackson also served 10 years with Catalent, formerly Cardinal Health Pharmaceutical Technologies and Services. During his tenure with Catalent, the company became a global leader in packaging services and strategic planning.
Bob Allen, chairman at PrePak Holdings, said in the release that the board of directors unanimously selected Jackson based on his track record leading complex organizations, as well as his strong executive and personal qualities.
“Our search for a new leader to continue the growing success of PrePak has been focused and thorough,” said Allen. “A screening team of board members established a broad field of candidates and interviewed many individuals. We then recommended the strongest contenders to the board as finalists. Each was interviewed by the entire board, and Renard was our top choice.”
“Renard came to our attention because of his strong execution skills, his proven ability to lead top performing teams, and his track record in driving shareholder value,” added Brett Fliegler, board member of PrePak Holdings. “As we got to know Renard, we were impressed by his emphasis on developing internal talent, his understanding of the role of culture in a company’s success, and his personal integrity.”
“PrePak is one of the fastest-growing contract manufacturing and packaging companies I have seen, with a proud history of quality, customer focus, innovation and outstanding talent,” Jackson said. “It’s a great honor to join its leadership team and have the opportunity to build on its success.”
