Perfecseal Expands Pharma Product Line

Perfecseal (Oshkosh, WI) has expanded its product portfolio with a new line of standard pharmaceutical packaging. PerfecPharm products feature barrier film or foil structures for product protection in pouching, sachets, strip packaging, flow wrap, stick pack, peelable, and frangible designs.

"The product line was created to answer continued demand for pharmaceutical materials for multiple pouching formats," says Georgia Mohr, the company’s pharmaceutical director. "Creating the PerfecPharm product line makes selecting materials for various applications very straightforward for the pharmaceutical companies."

New products in the company’s portfolio include PerfecPharm P110 and P122 laminated paper solutions for pouch/sachet/strip-packaging for tablets, capsules, and powder and PerfectPharm P202 high-speed flow wrap solutions for applications such as inhalers and diagnostics.

"With inhalers and transdermal patches growing as an alternative drug delivery, Perfecseal has leveraged our core material science to provide standard pharmaceutical packaging solutions," Mohr says. "Perfecseal has done its homework and recognize these product offerings will meet the packaging needs of our customers."

Additionally, the line will feature structures for child-resistance and high barrier or chemical resistant applications. The PerfecPharm P512 and P513 child resistant pouch/sachet/packaging solutions is designed for tablets, capsules, liquids, creams, and powders. The PerfecPharm P618 and P619 offer transdermal patch applications, with solutions that include Barex film or a new alternative film.
