New Advil Film Coated Tablets Employing Cartons from Clondalkin Pharma & Healthcare

The latest addition to the Advil product line features packaging with a "premium" feel. The new fast acting Advil Film Coated Tablets with Advil Ion Core Technology are debuting in cartons provided by Clondalkin Pharma & Healthcare Guaynabo, which produced packaging with highly technical printing techniques for Pfizer Consumer Healthcare, Clondalkin reported in a press release. The cartons feature a soft-touch matte varnish, UV high gloss, foil stamping, printed foil, and embossing.

“As Pfizer Consumer Healthcare was launching the new, fast acting Advil product line, it was important that the packaging also be unique," explained Kevin Kenjarski Clondalkin VP of Sales and Marketing, in the statement. "We were pleased to offer a design that was not only visually appealing but provided a tactile feel that differentiated the packaging.”

Clondalkin worked closely with the Pfizer Consumer Healthcare Package Design and Development Team to ensure that the printed features worked in harmony with the design, it was reported. Transparent blue ink was used in the foil blocked area to help convey a premium feel.
