Needle-Trap from Schreiner MediPharm Takes Home TLMI Innovator Award

Schreiner MediPharm has been honored by the North American Tag and Label Manufacturers Institute (TLMI) with the “Innovator Award” for its latest generation of Needle-Trap, which features detachable label parts. Needle-Trap features an integrated safety mechanism that secures the needle quickly and safely after use. It can be incorporated into conventional labeling systems and is adaptable to the most common syringe types, the company reported in a press release.

Needle-Trap’s most recent upgrade combines needlestick prevention with http://www.pmpnews.com/node/add/newsdetachable label parts for documentation of the administered injection in patient medical records or vaccination cards.
