Multivac to Display New Labeler and More at EastPack

Multivac (Kansas City, MO) will showcase its diverse product range once again at EastPack 2010 in New York City’s Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, June 8-10, in booth #3123. Attendees will have the opportunity to view demonstrations of Multivac thermoform fill-seal, tray sealing, and vacuum chamber packaging machinery as well the company’s new Xbelt labeler.

“As we see the economy beginning to rebound, our customers in the food, medical, and consumer product categories are looking for the absolute best and most innovative packaging solutions that deliver outstanding value and uncompromising reliability,” says Ed Wood, director of sales for Multivac’s medical-consumer-industrial (MCI) division. “We’re stepping up to that challenge once again with our full range of machinery, and we’re delighted to bring a selection for the consideration of EastPack attendees.”

EastPack 2010 attendees will be among the first in North America to see the new Multivac Xbelt labeler in action.

One key attraction at the booth will be Multivac’s new Xbelt labeler, which substantially reduces energy consumption and increases labeling speeds in inline packaging environments. Visitors will also see the company’s compact and versatile new-generation R145 thermoformer demonstrated with Bell-Mark MLP printing technology. Compact chamber pouch sealers for a wide range of applications will be on display, and the C500 TC constant heat sealing vacuum chamber system for medical applications will also be demonstrated. Those interested in tray packaging can see Multivac’s popular T200 tray sealer in use.
