Mnemonics Inc. Launches AVIA Infinity
Mnemonics Inc. (Mount Laurel, NJ) has launched AVIA Infinity, a highly flexible and effective tool designed to extend the dimensionality of automated proofreading to multiple-page document inspection. This product offers the highest level of error reduction on high-value documents, coupled with significant time savings that reduce the process from weeks down to hours — particularly in the fields of pharmaceutical, medical devices, and finance.
“AVIA Infinity was very well received at the 2010 INTERPHEX Conference and Exhibition in New York City,” says Michael Negin, Ph.D., president of Mnemonics. “The product is the latest addition to our family of proofreading and print inspection products for document verification and authentication. It reduces errors, offering a cost-effective way to save time and money. A 400-page document, which would take a team of proofreaders three to four weeks to proof, takes AVIA Infinity six hours. It offers automatic region of interest settings, allowing inspection of different size format documents, and mix and match documents with different page sizes within the same batch.”
AVIA Infinity inspects multiple page documents, including long manuscripts; booklets; instruction manuals; magazines; catalogs; and batch inspection of labels.
In addition to AVIA Infinity’s functionality, it offers a robust array of features, including automatic region of interest settings; magnification correction between standard and sample documents; batch processing of documents; automated storage of results in a database; enhanced review process that can be saved, closed, and then reopened for continued review; and inspection of any combination of pdf and scanned documents
“Our products enhance the performance of human proofreaders by unburdening them from tedious inspection, and increasing speed, accuracy, and productivity,” Dr. Negin says. “AVIA™ Infinity represents the next level of capability. Not only does it save time and money for companies, but in many cases, it saves lives in terms of ensuring accurate information about critical health care specifications.”
