Menasha Packaging Acquires Rand Diversified

Menasha Packaging Company, Neenah, WI announced it has acquired Rand Diversified of Edison, N.J. Terms of the transaction between the two privately held companies were not disclosed.
According to Mike Waite, president of Menasha Packaging, "The acquisition of Rand Diversified strengthens our geographic coverage with the addition of East Coast fulfillment and contract packaging. Customers continue to value partnerships where Menasha Packaging can manage the entire design through manufacturing through fulfillment process. Adding Rand's expertise will help us respond to this growing demand."
With the acquisition, Menasha Packaging will have 16 fulfillment operations in eight states.

Menasha Corporation is the parent of Menasha Packaging; its other businesses are ORBIS Corporation and LeveragePoint Media.
The distinct capabilities of Rand and Menasha Packaging will strengthen the combined company's position with customers, Menasha said in a press release.
Rand has a strong focus on contract packaging and has extensive experience with FDA and DEA. Menasha Packaging focuses on the food, household, and personal care markets and provides comprehensive design, manufacturing, fulfillment and logistics expertise to its customers. Menasha Packaging has a strong retail relationship focus with key retail partners across the U.S., providing an integrated approach. Its highly successful Retail Integration Group assists channel-leading retail partners and CPGs with ideation, execution and tracking of their merchandising strategies.
Rand is headquartered in Edison, where it also has a design office and fulfillment center. The company also operates fulfillment centers in Edwardsville, Ill., and in northeastern Pennsylvania.
