Jaguar Freight Enhances its Tracking System
Published: January 29th, 2010
Jaguar Freight Services (New York) has enhanced its CyberTrax online logistics system with the introduction of CyberTrax 2.0. Expanded capabilities include shipment watch lists with progress indicators, a chat feature for direct instant messaging, and customized email support.
In supporting real-time tracking of shipments, CyberTrax 2.0 automatically alerts that key events have occurred and supports customer query using purchase order numbers and sku product codes. Shipments are tracked directly into airlines’ systems with the input of master airway bill numbers. Reporting abilities cover live, delivered, and past shipments. In addition, the system retains an archive of historical data.
“A lack of information is the most costly, and most preventable, problem when it comes to shipping globally sourced freight,” said Simon Kaye, Jaguar Freight’s ceo.
“With CyberTrax 2.0, our clients now can see and manage every step in their supply chain through a customizable system that gives them full interactive control over their logistics process,” he added.
