IoPP Offers Scholarships For Students In Packaging Careers

The Institute of Packaging Professionals is offering four $2,500 academic scholarships to recognize exceptional college students headed for a career in packaging.

The scholarships were created to support packaging education and raise awareness of packaging as a career choice. The credentials of the top talent identified through the program will be shared with IoPP benefactor companies as a recruiting tool for their organizations.

“We are proud to lead this initiative to recognize the packaging industry’s future young professionals,” said Patrick Farrey, IoPP executive director.

“This program paves the way for the next step, a mentoring program that fosters the career development process and connects tomorrow’s leaders with those of today,” Farrey added.

Candidates must be students in their Junior or Senior year, pursuing a degree at an accredited college, university or vocational/technical school in a course of study relevant to a career in the packaging industry. The scholarships are applicable for the 2010-2011 academic year.

Students should send completed applications to: Packaging Education Scholarship Fund, c/o Institute of Packaging Professionals, 1833 Centre Point Circle, Suite 123, Naperville, IL 60563. All materials must be completed and postmarked no later than April 15, 2010. Incomplete applications will not be considered.

Recipients will be announced in May.
The four inaugural scholarships are funded through the support of the Minnesota, Tejas, and Chicago IoPP chapters along with IoPP benefactor companies and individual contributions.

The biggest issue that we

The biggest issue that we have in any hotel but particularly in a W is to deliver the W experience and that happens through the people. We call all the staff talent and so finding suitable talent to deliver on the W experience is really an opportunity that we see and we’ve been working very hard to get cover letter examplesthe right people in. It’s probably the most rewarding aspect of opening a hotel and a priority that we have so in going through the process we try to screen people for those that really want.

Through 11 years of service – eight as a Marine and three as a Department of Defense civilian – nearly all spent overseas, Eugene cv templates amassed an enviable resume and yet still saw the business world as out of reach.

The students that won these

The students that won these academic scholarships must be very proud of themselves, now they have a chance to become professionals in the packaging industry. I met at IT Support Tucson a person that worked in the packaging industry and he told me it was an very interesting job, he came with some ideas that the company put into practice and saved a lot of time and money.
