GS1 US Releases 2010 Annual Overview, Revamped Web site

GS1 US has released its 2010 Annual Overview, which outlines the role of GS1 US, case studies, and descriptions of important industry and GS1 US initiatives, such as food safety, data accuracy, and sustainability.

It has launched a revamped GS1 US website. The site features a fresh look, and integrates previously separate websites within the GS1 US family of brands, including GS1 US BarCodes and eCom, 1SYNC and EPCglobal US. It is now easier to navigate, and more truly reflects GS1’s integrated approach to solving business challenges for members throughout their value chains, GS1 US said.
 
The organization concluded its U Connect 2010 Conference June 7-10, with 1200 attendees.
Archived information about U Connect 2010 (click on the “Program” menu) and conference videos (including this one about the GS1 Value Chain) can now be found online, as well as plans for U Connect 2011, which will be held at the Orlando World Center Marriott from May 31 – June 3.
