Glenroy Debuts New Option for Foil-Based Flexible Packaging
Glenroy Inc., a custom converter and printer of flexible packaging, is introducing HPC, a high-performance tie-layer technology available as a component within the company's line of foil-based laminations. HPC (High Performance Component) has been engineered to meet cost objectives without sacrificing performance, the company reports in a press release.
Packaging featuring HPC can provide chemical resistance, oxygen- and moisture-barrier properties, machinability and roll conformity, and economical pricing. Glenroy reports that testing has shown HPC flexible packaging structures can outperform other foil-based flexible packaging structures. Glenroy’s packaging engineers are available for product/package compatibility testing.
HPC flexible packaging laminations are also available within Glenroy’s line of ExpressWeb surface printable packaging films, which are stocked and ready to ship within two to three business days.
“We continually search for new ways to advance the success of our customers. Expanding our offering to include HPC allows us to provide our customers with extremely cost-effective, high-performance flexible packaging structures,” said Rich Buss, president of Glenroy, in the press release.
