Flexcon Rolls Out 12 Indigo-Press-Compatible Substrates
Published: February 8th, 2010
Flexcon (Spencer, MA) is offering 12 new substrates suitable for Indigo presses for a range of product identification and advertising applications. Featuring Flexcon’s DigiPRO HP Indigo-compatible topcoats, the products are used in prime labels, reflective and conformable durable labels, and graphic advertising for floors and windows.
Part of Flexcon’s Value Better Supreme product offerings, the substrates are treated with DigiPRO HP TC-338 or TC-413 topcoats. Films will be available in short runs, can be shipped in less than five days, and feature a one-year shelf life.
New products to be highlighted at the Dscoop5 (Digital Solutions Cooperative) Annual Conference Feb. 18-20 in Dallas include REFLECTAmark DGWSGS, an acrylic film with a reflective glass bead coating for applications including long-range scannable bar code labels.
The PHARMcal PP20044D1 and optiFLEX RESEAL PP20083D1 films are clear polypropylene films that enable a no-label look on clear vials and syringes and printed flexible packaging materials respectively.
