Fischbein Celebrates 100th Year Anniversary

This year, Fischbein LLC is celebrating its 100th anniversary in developing bag-closing technology for a wide range of products. The company was founded by Davie Fischbein in the United States when he developed a portable sewing machine to close grain bags and has since grown into an international operation serving more than 100 countries.
Headquartered in Belgium for more than 50 years, the company has subsidiaries in France, United Kingdom, Germany, and Singapore. In 1999, Fischbein purchased Thames Packaging (London), enabling it to provide industrial sealers under the Saxon brand. Fischbein has since improved Saxon's technology and aesthetics.
In addition to providing bag closing systems that can be integrated into production lines, the firm now offers peripherals for automated lines, bag presenters, bag top formers, taggers, conveyors, and palletizers. It also partners with providers of industrial weighers to offer comprehensive solutions.
Fischbein strives to develop technology that can help increase efficiency and automation, maintain quality, and reduce downtime, the company shared in a press release.
