CCS and Index Encapsulation Join Hypex Packaging Technologies in New Location

CCS (Compression Components & Service) and Index Encapsulation Machines have moved to a new 52,000-sq-foot facility, which they will share sister company Hypex Packaging Technologies (HPT), a manufacturer of blister pack tooling. The new building will support growing demand for their product lines as well as enable the companies to share resources for competitiveness, the companies reported in a press release.

HPT performs all machining in-house, which will provide CCS and Index with more capabilities to better service customers.

“We have experienced increased demand for our products in the last few years with both our tablet presses and encapsulation equipment," said Fran Mallee, president of CCS and Index, in the press release. "The needs of our customers are usually immediate and the increased space allows us to build more stock machines which shortens our delivery times. The new facility will provide us enough room to meet this requirement for increased capacity.”

CCS provides Stokes equipment, parts, and support to tablet press end-users. CCS is the exclusive representative for ADAMUS HT tooling in North America, which includes specialized punches and dies and unique coatings. Encapsulation machines, parts, and support including rebuilding is also available through CCS’s sister company Index. For details, visit www.ccstabletpress.com.
