Adhesives Research Names New Vice President and General Manager of Research

Adhesives Research Inc., a developer and manufacturer of pressure-sensitive adhesives, tapes, specialty coatings, films, and laminates, has announced that Scott Knorr has been promoted to the position of vice president and general manager of the Adhesives Research division.
 
Knorr will oversee global sales as well as research and development efforts for the company’s pharmaceutical, medical, electronics, splicing, and engineered tapes businesses, the company announced in a press release. Knorr has been with Adhesives Research for 13 years, beginning as a process engineer in the medical/pharmaceutical operations group before joining the sales team in 2002. He was named business manager for the pharmaceutical business unit in 2005 and later promoted to his most recent position of medical business manager, overseeing the company’s global business activities as a component supplier to the medical device, diagnostic, and wound care industries.
 
Adhesives Research’s pressure-sensitive adhesives can be used in medical diagnostics and devices, wound care, and pharmaceuticals/transdermals, as well as in other markets.
