The front side can be used for high-end consumer graphics, while the back can contain print held in register with the front-side artwork. In addition, the lid stock can be sealed around the face of the tray, leaving a corner exposed to grab and pull for easy product access. It also features good strength characteristics that eliminate film tear upon opening, as well as good puncture resistance to minimize retailer rejection due to packaging failure. Blister Lidding Foil

The peelable foil requires a two-step action to access the product, while the peel/push format calls for three steps. In the peelable version, one blister cavity is separated from the package by tearing it at the perforation and then peeling off the paper/PET aluminum- laminate at the tab.
