MD&M East and EastPack co-locate to showcase medical devices and their packaging needs.

Medical Design & Manufacturing East and EastPack once again will occur together, to allow visitors to seize the opportunity to grow business and gain knowledge. The two shows will take place June 2–5 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City.

This year’s event will offer a four-day conference covering issues that surround the medical device manufacturing industry. Packaging will be covered thoroughly in the first day’s proceedings.

Monday, June 2 offers the seminar “Medical Device Packaging: Regulation and Innovation.” Randall Troutman, technical director, medical engineering department, Oliver Medical, will host the discussion.

On the exposition floor, packaging suppliers will find companies offering the latest in materials, equipment, and sterilization products and services. Pavilions will signal targeted booths, such as Medical, Pharmaceutical & Nutraceutical Packaging, and Cosmetic and Personal Care Packaging. Also featured on the trade show floor are the booths under the MedPak and PlastecEast show umbrella.

The new Green Manufacturing Expo is also co-located with the trade show. Created out of customer demand for more environmentally conscious business partners, the Expo will showcase companies that prominently feature green production, manufacturing, or services. This includes measures such as minimizing carbon footprints, reducing pollution, and conserving energy and natural resources. For more information, visit
