Capsule Filler

A continuous-motion capsule filler is designed to allow for different dosing units to be fitted at the same time. The Planeta machine can fill powders, pellets, tablets, microtablets, liquids, and herbal products, in single or multiple doses. It can also fill powders for low-dose applications. Up to four different types of pellets can be filled into a capsule. The machine can fill between 6000 and 100,000 capsules per hour. No change parts are required for tablet shapes and sizes. Miniature Spool Valve

A miniature spool valve is designed to dispense low- to high-viscosity fluids. The VMS400 is an industrial valve that can apply up to 700 lb of fluid pressure to dispense viscous fluids such as gels and pastes. It has an adjustable suck-back feature that is designed to ensure a smooth finish to an accurate shot program or bead path sequence of dispensing. The minimum shot size that the valve is capable of is 0.1 cm3. The valve, when paired with the company’s VC-1195A four-way valve controller, can achieve up to 400 shots per minute. Rotary Filler

A continuous-motion rotary filler is equipped with a single auger head and a rotary turret that has 12 funnels. Each funnel on the PF-28RCM features orbital vibration designed to speed up product flow into the container. The machine is specifically designed for filling powders, tablets, or capsules at high speeds. It also features dust plenums designed to facilitate clean filling of dusty products and container compression wheels designed to eliminate bridging in funnels. Tube Filler

A tube filler’s structure is designed to allow for easy cleaning and operation, convenient access to its dosing system, and reduced changeover time for size changes and fitting of different closures. The TFS 80-1 has a small footprint and can output up to 100 tubes per minute. It also features a horizontal tube-transport system that is designed for more-efficient tube loading and a horizontal discharge for positive carton transfer. The tube-transport system is servo driven. The filler is capable of handling standard tube diameters from 10 to 60 mm and tube lengths from 50 to 285 mm. Precision Filling

Designed for precise filling of powders or liquids, a dual-pitch filler/capper is a compact stainless-steel monoblock system incorporating a balcony design. Digitally Controlled Pump

A piston pump is designed to provide precision dispensing with the disposable convenience of a peristaltic pump. The digitally controlled i-Fill Micro pump eliminates manual adjustments and reduces changeover time and cleaning costs. Dispensing profiles can be programmed into the pump’s controller to minimize shearing forces on delicate product.
