Cadmus Whitewall Group (Charlotte, NC) has appointed Tom Hanrahan to account executive. He was previously employed with Cadmus from 1994 to 1997. Hanrahan has 18 years of sales experience in the printing and packaging industries, as well as in the healthcare, multimedia, and continuing education markets.

Weber Marking Systems (Arlington Heights, IL) has promoted Dennis P. McGrath to president and CEO. McGrath assumed the new role after 16 years as the company’s vice president of marketing and sales. He has represented the company as a board member for several industry trade associations, including the Packaging Machinery Manufacturers Institute, the Material Handling Institute of America, and the Automatic Identification Manufacturers. McGrath joined Weber in 1972.

Multivac Inc. (Kansas City, MO) has announced the hiring of Michael J. Lynch as its director of sales for the company’s medical, consumer, and industrial division. He has more than 16 years of sales and management experience in the plastics and injection molding industries. Lynch is responsible for implementing market strategies, fostering client relationships, and identifying growth opportunities for his division in the United States and Canada.

The Healthcare Compliance Packaging Council (HCPC) has elected Bill Sharpless, global market manager at Alcoa Flexible Packaging, to serve on the HCPC board of directors for the remainder of the board’s 2005–2006 term. The seven-member board is responsible for governing the activities and direction of the council. Sharpless has more than 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical packaging field. The HCPC also announced that Lou Cosentino, general manager for Mead Westvaco Healthcare Packaging, has been selected by the board to serve as vice chairman for the remainder of the 2005–2006 term.

RTi (Ft. Worth, TX) has appointed Joe Ogiony to managing partner. He has more than 20 years of experience in sales and marketing with polyolefin producers. He specializes in flexible and rigid packaging where polyethylene, polypropylene, and polystyrene materials are used.
