NEWS: Convenience Awarded Top Honor

For its packaging of the MyClyns spray product, All-Pak Inc. (Bridge­ville, PA) was awarded a Gold Medal in the Drug and Pharmaceutical category of the 2008 National Association of Container Distributors (Naperville, IL) Awards. The product inside the package is not compatible with either polypropylene or polyethylene, so All-Pak instead housed it in an amber glass vial, which was then encased in a plastic outer barrel. A vascular graft culture tube by O. Berk Co. (Union, NJ) received silver, while the ZapZyt, by Berlin Packaging (Chicago), was awarded bronze.
