ISTA Transport Packaging Forum

Sustainability in the cold chain, future of transportation packaging, and more are on the agenda.

This April 6–9 in Summerlin, NV, at the JW Marriott Las Vegas Resort and Spa, ISTA has assembled the newest addition of the International Transport Packaging Forum.

The opening keynote will be given by Dennis E. Young, CPP, Michigan State University School of Packaging. In it, he will offer a retrospective of packaging in the past, current packaging, and what we might anticipate in the future.

Sam’s Club’s Robert Parvis, packaging manager of house brands, and Eric Joneson, ISTA President, will speak about eco friendly options in their talk “Driving Sustainable Packaging Development with Customized Packaging Testing.”

Visitors can become certified as ISTA Certified Packaging Laboratory Professionals (CPLP) with classes on April 5. The morning session is for Technicians, and the afternoon classes are for Technologists, and both have certification tests the next day.
