(Saddle Brook, NJ) has promoted Jackie Daly Johnson from vice president and CEO to president. During her 20-year career at Beacon, Johnson has held various positions in manufacturing, engineering, quality assurance, administration, and sales. Her responsibilities will now encompass overseeing all of the company's operations.

West Pharmaceutical Services Inc. (Lionville, PA) has promoted Donald E. Morel Jr. to CEO. Morel has served as West's president and COO since May 2001 and will retain the title of president. He succeeds William G. Little, who will continue as chairman of the board until his retirement in the spring of 2003.

Almedica International Inc. (Allendale, NJ) has named Lynn S. Fenster the director of quality assurance of its North American operation, Almedica Services Corp. Fenster is a certified quality auditor and certified quality engineer with almost 20 years of pharmaceutical quality assurance and regulatory affairs experience.

MGS Machine Corp. (Minneapolis) has promoted Steven Hallblade to international sales manager. Previously, Hallblade was managing the sales of the company's Pick n' Place group. His new responsibilities include global selling and marketing activities for all of the company's product lines.

Plassein International (Willington, CT) has promoted Tom Crosson to vice president general manager of the company's Ontario, CA; Longview, TX; and Thomasville, NC, manufacturing facilities. Crosson is now responsible for managing operations, driving sales, and developing performance-driven film products and solutions for the three locations.

Fisher Container Corp. (Buffalo Grove, IL) has hired David Dunphy as cleanroom packaging sales manager. Dunphy has 12-plus years of sales experience in the pharmaceutical, medical, and aerospace industries. He is responsible for expanding key accounts.
