Alcan Packaging (Quebec, Canada) has appointed Serge De Paoli as vice president marketing & strategic development for the pharmaceutical and cosmetics–Americas Sector. He will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing, sector development, and global account management strategies.

Ampersand Label Inc. (Garden Grove, CA) celebrated the first anniversary of Paulette Carnes' tenure as president. Joining the company in 1987 as a client service representative, Carnes moved up the corporate ladder in 1995 to become vice president of marketing. She was promoted to her present position as president in 2001.

Multivac (Kansas City, MO) has appointed Gerry Sabat as West Coast regional sales manager of its medical/consumer/industrial group. Sabat joins the company with more than 20 years experience in the medical industry, including product development, engineering, and marketing.

Rexam Healthcare Flexibles (Bristol, UK) has appointed Peter Keller as sales manager, Central Europe. He is responsible for developing business in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Keller previously had sales management roles with Südpack and Wipak.
