CGM Applied Security Technologies Inc. (Somerset, NJ), a unit of Digital Descriptor Systems Inc., has made Mark Raymond a manufacturers’ representative. Raymond will cover territory in Michigan, Indiana, and Ohio. He will be responsible for outreach to clients and prospective clients related to CGM’s security products. Raymond has experience in adhesive technology and RFID. He was the founding sales representation services provider for C-Ray Enterprises LLC.

Tony Valentyn has joined BeamOne LLC (San Diego, CA) as its Midwest regional manager. He will manage the company’s service center in Lima, OH, and develop expansion opportunities in the Midwest for contract sterilization of medical devices and pharmaceuticals. Valentyn was previously the director of operations at Surebeam Corp. (now L3 Communications). The Lima service center is one of the company’s three contract sterilization facilities; the others are located in San Diego, CA; and Denver, CO.

Joe Tenhagen is now vice president of marketing at Nosco Inc. (Gurnee, IL). Tenhagen assisted the company through a consulting arrangement during which he helped the company rebrand its image in the marketplace, as well as helped formulate new marketing strategies, market research, and trade show attendance strategies. He also helped redesign the company’s Web site.

Fred McMahon

Norwood Marking Systems (Downers Grove, IL), a division of Illinois Tool Works, has appointed Fred McMahon to be its national account manager for customers in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries. He is responsible for building awareness for the company’s marking and coding products and for developing strong customer relationships in these markets. McMahon has more than 10 years of experience in packaging equipment sales for companies including NJM/CLI, Krones, and Videojet Technologies.
