Tom Goeke has been promoted from president of Klöckner Pentaplast of America Inc. (Gordonsville, VA) to COO of

Klöckner Pentaplast Group

and Michael Tubridy from executive vice president to president. Other Klöckner Pentaplast of America (KpA) promotions include David Veasey from director of production to vice president of operations, Michael Ryan from marketing manager to director of marketing, and Bobby Nolan from national sales manager to director of sales. Bob Kramer has been hired as director of marketing and sales for the Witt Plastics division of KpA.

Graphic Packaging Corp. (Marietta, GA) has appointed John T. Baldwin as senior vice president and CFO. He was previously vice president and CFO of Worthington Industries. Baldwin reports to Stephen M. Humphrey, the company's president and CEO.

Hueck Foils (Wall, NJ) has promoted Joseph W. Mahn to production manager of its Blythewood, SC, facility. Mahn will be responsible for day-to-day operations of the company's Blythewood press, coater/laminator, and slitter departments, as well as for improving overall plant efficiencies, reducing waste, and maximizing production uptime and quality.

Sonic Packaging (Westwood, NJ) is pleased to welcome Susan Spillane to the company. Spillane has 15 years of experience in the purchasing, sourcing, and packaging of unit-dose products for the HBA, household/ industrial, and medical industries. Prior to joining Sonic, Spillane was general manager of Acupac Packaging, an OSG company.

Charles F. Geraldi

Charles F. Geraldi has joined Adolph Gottscho Inc. (Union, NJ) as director, sales and marketing. He is a 26-year veteran of the high-tech automation industry holding a BEEE from Stevens Institute of Technology and an MBA from Iona College. His experience covers a broad spectrum from executive management of several high-tech companies to marketing and product development.

Michael Vijuk, founder of Vijuk Equipment (Elmhurst, IL), passed away on August 26. He will be remembered for his courage to stand up for his convictions, his entrepreneurial spirit, his ingenuity, and his contributions to the pharmaceutical folding industry.
