John Chiminski was recently named president and CEO of Catalent Pharma Solutions (Somerset, NJ), on whose board of directors he will also serve. Chiminski’s most recent position was as president and CEO of GE Medical Diagnostics, GE Healthcare. He has held several senior management positions during his 21 years at the company .
McKesson Medical-Surgical’s (Richmond, VA) vice president of customer technology, Greg Stivers, has been elected to chair the board of directors for the Health Industry Business Communications Council (HIBCC). Stivers prior positions have been with Global Healthcare Exchange, HECIC, and CHeS. Stivers has represented the Healthcare Distribution Management Association (HDMA) on HIBCC’s board since August 2004, and has served on the Executive Committee.
NanoGuardian (Skokie, IL) has appointed John D. Glover to head its Security Advisory Board. Glover has worked with the FBI, Bristol-Myers Squibb Co., and the U.S. State Department in his 35-year career. He will assist NanoGuardian in halting counterfeited and diverted pharmaceuticals in the supply chain. Glover currently heads an independent consulting company, John Glover Consulting Inc.
Perfecseal (Oshkosh, WI) has appointed a new director of market development for the pharmaceutical segment, Georgia Mohr. She will direct Perfecseal’s efforts in the pharmaceutical packaging market. Mohr has 25 years of experience in the flexible packaging industry, and most recently served as market manager for pharmaceutical packaging at Reynolds Flexible Packaging.
Olivier Huss has been named labeling market development manager in the adhesive dispensing division of Nordson Corp. (Duluth, GA). Huss’ responsibilities include increasing awareness of Nordson’s noncontact adhesive dispensing solutions in labeling applications in the North American markets. His experience includes 10 years at Nordson in various roles including project management, application engineering, and market development.
